Alamo Group Snow & Ice Team Expands with New Wooster, Ohio Facility

In a move that demonstrates our commitment to meeting the growing demands of our clients, the Alamo Group Snow & Ice division has proudly expanded by adding a manufacturing facility in Wooster, Ohio. This 400,000-square-foot facility is set to revolutionize the production process for our snowplows, spreaders, salt boxes, and other essential snow removal equipment.

This expansion is the most significant step we’ve taken yet to increase our production capacity and reduce lead times. With an experienced team already in place, we’re ready to take the next step toward meeting the needs of our customers across the United States.

Why Wooster, Ohio?

The Wooster facility’s central location is ideal for transporting materials and shipping finished products to key locations across the country. Just an hour south of Cleveland and an hour and a half north of Columbus, Wooster’s strategic position will help streamline both inbound and outbound logistics.

The plant is equipped with the latest technology in manufacturing. From CNC equipment and press brakes to a multi-million-dollar powder coating system, every part of the manufacturing process has been designed for precision, speed, and quality. With a focus on sustainable practices, the facility also features an environmentally friendly paint system that minimizes fumes and ensures a safe work environment.

Growing Our Team

We’re not just building a facility; we’re also building our team. With 60 employees already in place, we plan to double that number by the end of the year. Our goal is to continue to grow, improve our product offerings, and meet the evolving needs of our customers in the Snow & Ice industry.
